| In
the 1950s, a number of sci-fi movies featured men from earth rocketing
into space and finding unusual, beautiful women living without men
in another world. In such classics as “Cat Women Of The Moon,”
“Queen Of Outer Space” and “Fire Maidens Of Outer
Space,” women were always dressed in exotic or sexy costumes.
In keeping with the spirit of this popular
genre, Cascade Sky Entertainment has reached an agreement with KARMA,
a rising star in women’s fashion, to provide exotic costumes
for Queen Jasmine in “Remember The Flowers.” Karma’s
clothing line has been featured in Visage Magazine and Fashion Talk,
and on display at the Bollywood IIFA Lux Awards, India’s equivalent
of the Academy Awards.
Added to the mix is the futuristic work of
French costume designer Elodie
Massa, who has extensively studied the sci-fi genre, both in
Europe and the United States.
Topping it off is the handcrafted wearable
chainmaille specially designed for each actress by talented Hillsboro
artist Ron
Fitch.
These costumes are part of the overall production
design which will stay true to the genre, while updating the story
format and bringing a contemporary production quality to the film.
